12 Mar American Prize – Semifinalist

So pleased to announce that I have been selected as a semifinalist in The American Prize in Composition—Instrumental Chamber Music (professional division), 2018-19. No word yet on when the next round will be announced, but they seem to be steadily trickling out the result of the dozens of categories in the competition. I know at least two other composers in the running, one a good friend of mine from grad school days, Brian Ciach, and a former colleague, Josh Burel. Looks like a good group of composers were recognized in this round.
